There are four basic Vedic texts in use by Hindus.

Give a brief description of each, including how many hymns are in each.

• Rig-Veda “The Knowledge of the Hymns of praise”, for recitation. Hymns = 1,028
• Sama-Veda “The knowledge of the melodies”, for chanting. Verses = 1,549
• Yajur-Veda “The knowledge of the sacrificial formulas”, for liturgy. Hymns = 1,017
• Atharva-Veda “The knowledge of the magic formulas”, named after a kind of group of priests. hymns = 730

Do some independent research, and in your own words describe the practice of indulgences. 

• This was a payment to the Catholic church to forgive your sins.

Why do you think Martin Luther objected to indulgences?

• He objected these because he had doubted of how the Catholics church did this and that they were taking this religion in a wrong way. that also this was wrongdoing and that it was almost against the Catholic religion.

Describe the details of the Hajj, and include a photo or video of a Hajj in your blog.

• It is an annual trip to Mecca that all adult Muslims must seek out doing once in their lifetime if they are physically and mentally capable of doing.
